Warung M. Nasir

After long time searching the real taste of Indonesian foods in Singapore, finally I found one. The restaurant name is Warung M. Nasir.

Warung M. Nasir sells Padang foods like Sayur Lodeh, Beef Rendang, Fish Curry, Sambal Goreng, Bakwan Sayur, Fried Chicken and many more.

1 portion of Nasi Padang will cost you around S$7.00. The price will be depending on how many dishes that you ordered. The portion is quite big. They give a generous portion of the steam rice as well.

Eating Nasi Padang will not be complete without Kerupuk (crackers). So don't forget to order that also :)

FYI, in Indonesia, we call Padang foods is Nasi Padang. The typical of Padang foods are spicy. So, most of the foods at Warung M. Nasir are spicy. If you can't eat spicy foods, better don't ask for any gravy. This kind of gravy makes the foods even spicier.

Feeling hungry after visit The Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium or visit Sentosa? If yes, you may try Fish & Crab Shack.

If you are one of jazz music fans, you can try their weekend dinner. You may be accompanied by live jazz every Friday & Saturday in 'Jazz Night @ MEMA (Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium)'.

Because it’s located at The Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium, some of you might think can't go to this restaurant without buying the entrance ticket. No need to worry, you still will be able to go to Fish & Crab Shack without buying the entrance ticket.

The theme in this restaurant is Seafood. But don't worry if you allergy in seafood, you may try their other dishes like Grilled Chicken Chop, Meatball Pasta and many more.

The recommended dish in here is Fish & Chips. At the first time, I was fooled by the appearance. I thought it's not nice because the appearance is like Goreng Pisang (Fried Banana). But actually, it is a really a nice dish. The Fish is very soft & melting in my mouth.

You must try their Crabby Linguine with Garlic Pesto too. The taste is really nice, but the portion is a bit small for me :p

Sakura Charcoal Grilled & Shabu Shabu

If you are buffet fans, I recommend you to try this. The varieties of their foods are great and the ambience is pretty cool.

What is so special about this restaurant?

We could try to grill the foods with the charcoal.

FYI! You MUST try their Yakitori bacon with mushrooms,  tomato, or the asparagus.  The tastes are superb!! They also have Salmon fish, Prawn, Beef, Lamb and Pork. For the 'cooked food', they provide the mee goreng (fried noddle), fried rice, etc.

And for the dessert, you must try the durian puff, the taste is so refreshing =) Oh ya, over there you may also try their cold noodle, sushi, ice creams, cakes and also fruits.

The restaurant is quite big and from there you may see our neighbour (which is Malaysia).

How to go there?
It's quite difficult to reach there when you are not driving, you may consider to go there by a shuttle bus.
